Starting Early:
Your brain has auto learning mode where it automatically learns from your surroundings, society, and people around you. For example, your society drives your facial expressions, accent, thought process, and much more.
Passive learning of your brain is one of the major reasons, we are told to keep good company and surroundings. No one teaches the heart how to beat or breath as auto or passive learning is effortless. While active learning or asking your brain to learn something requires great effort.
If you try to learn something, you’ll find that your brain can concentrate a few seconds per minute. Brain learns faster when it finds something interesting or when it is under some pressure. Its interest in learning diminishes for uninteresting topics. That’s why the brain learns many unwanted things like you are the brain and whatever brain or body wants is what you want. But in reality, you are neither the brain nor the body. The older you grow the more firm your learning becomes and your brain starts controlling you
Meditation is about controlling your mind so your brain starts doing things that are good for you and stops doing things that your brain would rather like to do. The more you wait to control your mind the harder would be to take back the control. That’s why it is recommended to start a meditation journey as early as possible. If you start early, you’ll save your time unlearning useless auto learned things. It is always easier to write something on a clean slate. So start meditating today
